for 1862, with blued 8in. octagonal barrel signed 'ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA.', plain stepped cylinder with roll engraved scene along with the last four digits of the serial number '5822', re-numbered by Colt to '5667' on the stepped portion, open iron frame signed 'COLT'S PATENT', brass grip-straps and trigger-guard bow, plain walnut smooth one-piece grip and articulated under-barrel rammer, strong traces of finish and colour
